He was predeceased by: his parents, Murphy Grant and Bessie Grant; his brothers, Darvin and Leon; and his grandson-in-law Bobby Stewart.
He is survived by: his wife Martha Grant; his daughters, Tonja Bennett (Mike) of Soddy Daisy, Shonda Dishman (Von) of Soddy Daisy and Veronica Stewart of Sweetwater, TN; his grandchildren, Amanda Bennett, Justin Cooley (Kayla), Brittany Cooley and Tasha Bennett; his great grandchildren, Ella Cooley, Ariyah Bennett and Naomi Cooley; and his siblings, Ester Lee, Audrey Grant and Gene Grant. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, November 10th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Standefer-Reed Funeral Home (50 May Rd, Dunlap, TN 37327). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, November 11th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location.
