He was predeceased by: his wife Rena Mae Barker (Johnson); his parents, Henry Barker and Ethel Barker (Lewis); and his siblings, Standifer, Lewis, Wallace, Sam Wilson Barker, Beatrice May Hobbs, Arbutus Bryant and Trulla Bell Williams.
He is survived by: his sister Cindy Barker-Garner; his children, Alan Barker (Martha), Terry Barker (Darlene), Marilyn Shaw (Mike), Greg Griffith (Brenda), Randy Griffith and Ranonia Dykes (Booper); his grandchildren, Sarai Pierce (Clint), Misty Barker (Rick Camara), Michelle Johnson, Sheena Summers (Larry), Chris Matherly (Ashton), Michael Shaw, Jason Shaw (Karin) and Andrew Griffith (Chelsie); and his siblings-in-law, Jenelle Johnson McDerment and Odell Johnson (Linda). He is also survived by several great grandchildren and great- great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.
