Jared Barker Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jared Barker of Dunlap, Tennessee, who passed away on August 16, 2025 at the age of 41. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

As Jared departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Jared. Though Jared may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.

He was predeceased by: his grandfather Wayne Barker; his stepgrandfather Raymond Cagle; and his brother Drew Barker. He is survived by: his mother Sherry Bickford (Shayne); his grandmother Lois Cagle (Alfred Myers); his uncle David Cagle; and his cousins, Shelby Cagle, Kayla Cagle, Dylan Cagle (Alexis) and Cade Cagle. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

“This tragic news has reached Oregon. Jared was at my wedding in Hawaii and my entire family fell in love with him. I was there with him when he broke his knee. Jared and I shared some wonderful memories together, and I knew him to always be so supportive. The world is less bright without him here. I am heartbroken to hear of his passing.
