He was predeceased by: his son Edwin Pay Minton; his parents, William Edward and Pearl Minton; and his brother Richard Edwin Minton. He is survived by: his wife Alene Davis Minton; his sons, Ronnie Doyle Minton (Larry Hullander), Steve Moffitt (Judy) and Phillip Moffitt; his grandchildren, Krista Herron (Jared), Jailin Moffitt, Ramsey and Justin Hullander (Stephanie); and his great grandchildren, Dakota, Phoenix, Caleb, Madison and Aidan.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 15th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Ewton Funeral Home & Cremation Center (6936 TN-28, Dunlap, TN 37327). A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, October 15th 2025 at 2:30 PM at the Cagle - Mt. Pleasant Cemetery.
