With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Nixon Harvey of Dunlap, Tennessee, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 8, 2025 at the age of 72. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Taft Harvey and Carrie Harvey; and his siblings, Eisenhower, Lonnie Harvey, Eula V. Walker and Aota Bryant.
He is survived by: his sisters, Lorene Lewis (Oliver) of Dunlap, Delsie Richards of Dunlap, Joyce Snyder of Graysville, Gertie Mae Snyder of Graysville and Jimmie Ruth Womac of Pikeville; and his caregiver Tonya Wells. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and special niece.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 15th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM and on Sunday, November 16th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Standefer-Reed Funeral Home (50 May Rd, Dunlap, TN 37327). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, November 16th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers the family asks for donations to the funeral home to help with funeral expenses.
