He was predeceased by: his wife Betty; his son Kevin Jones; and his parents, Carlos Jones and Alice Jones. He is survived by: his son Jeffery Jones (Dawn); his daughter-in-law Lana Jones; his granddaughter Amber Golovlev (Alexander); and his great grandchildren, Elena and Katherine Golovlev. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Standefer-Reed Funeral Home (50 May Rd, Dunlap, TN 37327). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, October 11th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Historic Chapel Hill Church (5149 E Valley Rd, Dunlap, TN 37327).
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be made to the Chapel Hill Methodist Church building fund.
