He was predeceased by: his parents, Sarah Elizabeth and James Leonard Trimble, Sr.; and his siblings, Wanda Siegel, Myra Conner, Jack Trimble, Robert D. Trimble, William E. Trimble and Edwin Trimble.
He is survived by: his wife Lynda B. Trimble; his daughter Kimberly Smith Patterson; and his grandson Jacob T. Smith. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
