He was predeceased by: his parents, JC Massengale and Janice Lee Bartholomew Hutton; and his siblings, Ronald Massengale, Deena Hicks and Linda Kendricks.
He is survived by: his wife Lisa Chadwick Massengale; his brother Butch Murdock (Barb); and his half-sisters, Crystal Millikin (Alex), Rebecca Soggins (Chris) and Kim Massengale. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 26th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Ewton Funeral Home & Cremation Center (6936 TN-28, Dunlap, TN 37327). A graveside service will be held on Monday, October 26th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the McNabb Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the funeral home to help with burial expenses.
