It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Anne Lois Thompson of Dyer, Tennessee, who passed away on October 12, 2025, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Artie Lewis and Bessie Mae Selph Holderfield; her husband Richard Wayne "Nick" Thompson; her son Phillip Thompson; and her sisters, Mavis Lowrance, Katherine Eddlemon and Margie Todd.
She is survived by: her daughter Lori Carter (Anthony); and her grandchildren, Allen, Amy, Austin, Cody and Ryan. She is also survived by seven great-grandchildren; four nieces; and two nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Karnes & Son Funeral Home - Dyer (134 College St, Dyer, TN 38330). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 from 3:15 PM to 4:15 PM at the Oakwood Cemetery (705 S Main St, Dyer, TN 38330).
