He was predeceased by : his parents, Raymond Oliver and Christine DeMedicis Oliver; his child Casey Renda; and his brother Neal Oliver. He is survived by : his wife Ava Nelle Oliver; his children, Kenny Oliver (Susan), Mike Oliver (Lisa) and Robbie Oliver; and his siblings, Betsy Maddox, Ronnie Oliver and Susan Thornton. He is also survived by five grandchildren; and three great grandchildren.

Bobby has always been kind and thoughtful to Gary and myself, through the years, even though we were miles apart. Bobby and family have always been in our hearts. When I was a child, and got into trouble, Bobby would pick me up and hold me in his arms to keep Mur from spanking me. He was a good brother to me and brother-in-law to Gary..
