He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Leonard and Mildred Lucille Perry Carson; his wife Della Mae Carson; his son Michael Carson; and his siblings, Stanley Carson, Billy Carson, Marshall Carson and Norma Jean Workman.
He is survived by: his sons, Rickie Carson (Debbie) and Jeffrey Carson (Teresa); and his siblings, Joe Carson and Dianne BeLote. He is also survived by four grandchildren.
A funeral service was held on Wednesday, January 14th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Oakwood Cemetery (705 S Main St, Dyer, TN 38330).
