He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Grimes; his children, Paula Kolwyck, Dustin Grimes and Shelly Dycus; his siblings, Kay Hampton, Dale Thornton and John Thornton; and his grandchildren, Matthew, Amanda, Andrew, James Allen, Jessica, Kolby, Nicholas, Courtlan, Codey, Caitlynn Joe, Kelsey, Tara, Niki and Kirk. He is also survived by twenty-one great-grandchildren.
