He is survived by: his wife Candy Coble Patterson; his children, Trice Patterson (Lauren) and Samantha Cunningham (Justin); his brothers, Larry Patterson (Greta) and Johnny Patterson (Teresa); and his grandchildren, Maizy Patterson, Vera Mae Cunningham and Lillie Jane Cunningham.
