He was predeceased by: his father Kenneth Ray Bates; and his son David Bates. He is survived by: his mother Carolyn Jean Bates Langston; his sister Debbie Parker (Perry); his niece Chasity Mercer (Greg); his nephew Justin Marlow (Becky); his close friend Patricia'Trish'Lee; and also Keri Parker.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Poplar Grove Cemetery (275 TN-185, Dyer, TN 38330).
