Though Bill may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Bill touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Oliver Wray and Emily Louise Newsom Coder; and his wife Carolyn Barrett Coder. He is survived by: his children, Jennie Coder of Jackson and Bryan Coder (Becky) of Lexington; his grandchildren, Maliyah Parr and Destiny Thomas; and his sisters, Liz Troop (Dan) of Murfreesboro and Sue Campbell of Murfreesboro.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Curry Funeral Home (1984 St John Ave, Dyersburg, TN 38024). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 at the Poplar Corner Cemetery.
