He was predeceased by: his parents, Isaac Dudley Jones and Bessie Daniel Jones; his daughter Lisa Davis; and his siblings, Joseph Dudley Jones, Daniel Wesley Jones, Thomas Isaac Jones, Jesse Ray Jones, Maurice Jones, Virginia Frances Jones McBride and Daurice Jones Sentell.

He is survived by: his wife Joyce Phillips Jones of Dyersburg, TN. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be directed to Southside Baptist Church.
