He was predeceased by: his parents, John Bishop and Rae Bishop (Loggins); and his sisters, Louise Bean (Bishop) and Bessie Payne (Bishop). He is survived by: his wife Loretta Bishop; his children, Richard Bishop (Connie) and Melissa Gauldin (Michael); his grandchildren, Meghan Bishop, Rachel Prifti (Michael) and Aaron Gauldin (Lydia); his great grandchildren, Greer Bishop, Carter Prifti, Luca Prifti, Georgia Gauldin and Ezra Gauldin; and his sisters, Della Phillips, Virginia Russell and Vivian Phelps.
