He was predeceased by: his parents, Nathaniel Worth and Eva Sayle Claiborne; his wives, Imogene Wilkerson Claiborne and Evelyn Claiborne; his granddaughter Kimberly Dawn Fagan; and his siblings, Louise Browning, Elizabeth Garland, Tom Claiborne Fred Claiborne, Charles Claiborne, Hamilton Claiborne, Don Claiborne and Jim Claiborne.
He is survived by: his children, Arahwana Brasfield (Glendale) of Dyersburg and Eddie Little (Patsy) of Dyersburg; his grandchildren, Mitzi Brasfield-Reed, Keri Crowell and Kristi McCord; his stepchildren, Selena Watkins (Rick) of Lufkin, TX and Tom Haughney (Brenda) of St Simons Island, GA; and his stepgrandchildren, Wendy Bazemore, Wade Watkins, Justin Haughney and Brett Haughney. He is also survived by six great-grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
