He was predeceased by: his parents, Theo King and Mae Bell Hilliard Reeves; his wife Peggy Marie Brashier Reeves; his brothers, Willie Lee Reeves, Ewell Theo Reeves and Alvin Hayes Reeves; and his son-in-law Michael Misener.
He is survived by: his children, Vicki E. Misener of Dyersburg and John N. Reeves, Jr. of Dyersburg; his grandchildren, Tammie Odenbrett (Randy), Ken Misener and Christopher Misener (Jenna); and his great grandchildren, Emily Odenbrett, Robbie Odenbrett, Hailey Odenbrett, Carson Misener and Rhylin Misener. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
