He was predeceased by: his parents, William Thompson and Hazel Johnson Thompson; his wife Wanda Redden Thompson; and his son David Wayne Thompson. He is survived by: his son Roger Thompson (Jennifer) of Halls, TN; his sisters, Anita Lumley of Dyersburg, TN and Dorothy Pace of Finley, TN; and his grandsons, Zach Thompson and John Thompson. He is also survived by four great-grandchildren.
