He was predeceased by: his parents, Jim Tom and Rosie Skinner; and his siblings, Jim Frank Skinner, Bill Skinner, Tommy Ray Skinner, Daisy Lee Cannady, Annie Jean Cannady and Marie Skinner.
He is survived by: his wife Bonnie Hicks Skinner; his nephew Ricky Wayne Lamb; and his siblings, John Randolph Skinner, Betty Carolyn Cheek, Audrey Faye Savage and Kathy Arzadon. He is also survived by numerous other nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, October 1st 2025 at 7:00 PM at the West Dyersburg Church of Christ (820 US-51, Dyersburg, TN 38024).
The family request that memorials be made, in lieu of flowers, to the work of LeBonnheur Children's Hospital or the Monroe Carrol Children's Hospital at Vanderbilt Hospital in Nashville.
