He was predeceased by: his parents, Leroy Richards and Louise Richards; and his brothers, Jerry and James Richards. He is survived by: his wife Opal Richards; his daughter Mary Beth Roberson (Jimmy); his brother Tommy Richards; and his grandson Brady Roberson.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, July 23rd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Dyersburg Funeral Home (420 US-51, Dyersburg, TN 38024). A graveside service was held on Wednesday, July 23rd 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Fairview Cemetery (820 Shelby Dr, Dyersburg, TN 38024).
The Richards family ask that memorials be directed to support the work of the West Tennessee State Veterans Home, in lieu of flowers.
