With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Patsy Ann Mealer of Dyersburg, Tennessee, who passed away on February 27, 2026 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Aaron Samson Shirley and Rosa Bell Smith Shirley; her husband Auston Lee "Alton" Mealer, Sr.; and her siblings, Aaron Shirley, Jr., Unifay Shirley, Jerry Lee Shirley, Dorothy Owen, Louise White, Brenda Depriest and Peggy Wilson.
She is survived by: her children, Sherry Diane Lee (Kenny) of Ridgely, TN, Auston Mealer, Jr. (Loretta) of Dyersburg, TN and Jerry Mealer of Dyersburg, TN; her sisters, Carolyn Quillens of Ridgely, TN and Martha Jo Montgomery (David) of Bogota, TN; her grandchildren, Kenneth Leon Lee, Andy Lee, Corey Mealer, Brandtly Mealer, Wesley Mealer and Emmery Mealer; and her caregiver Amanda Reed. She is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren.
