He was predeceased by: his parents, Lear Kirk and Virginia Kirk; his daughter Amy Allison Kirk; and his siblings, Jere T. Kirk and Jane Kirk Chapman.
He is survived by: his son Carter Kirk (Kasey); and his grandchildren, Jackson, Karlin, Hudson, Mason McDowell (Blair), Joey Kate, Morgan, Anna Carol Cantu (J. D.), Jadan and Jace Allison.
Visitation was held on Sunday, July 20th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Dyersburg Funeral Home (420 US-51, Dyersburg, TN 38024). A funeral service was held on Sunday, July 20th 2025 from 3:30 PM to 4:30 PM at the Grace Methodist Church (2240 Parr Ave, Dyersburg, TN 38024).
