She was predeceased by: her parents, Ace Coner and Mary Elizabeth Mathis Coner; and her brothers, Royce Freeman, Homer Freeman, Billy Nell Freeman and Junior Freeman.
She is survived by: her children, Billy Joe Smith of Dyersburg, David Lynn Smith of Dyersburg, Tennessee, Patricia Criswell (James) of Newbern and Melinda Sue Smith of Mississippi. She is also survived by five grandchildren and twelve great- grandchildren.
