He was predeceased by: his parents, William Calvin and Mildred Beatrice Ball; his wife Nancy Ball; and his siblings, Dan, Don Ketchum of Dyersburg, TN and Patricia Hopper of Collierville, TN..

He is survived by: his brother Jimmy Ketchum of Dyersburg, TN; his children, Nancy Sue Clark of Dyersburg, TN, Amanda Clark of St. Louis, MO, Andrew Ball (Halee) of Slaughters, KY, Sarah McVey (Jason) of McMinnville, TN, Jennifer Ball of Fukushima, Japan, Skylar, Gavin, Lukas, Maddie Ball, Everett Clark, Lillian Boyce, Isaac and Kathleen McVey; and his great grandchild Noah Lopes. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
