He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Gable and Sarah Williams Gable; his wife Fannie Junior Gable; his daughter Loretta Autry; and his siblings, Betty Sue Foster and Clark Earl Gable.
He is survived by: his children, Willie Gable of Dyersburg, Tennessee and Penny Gable Webber of Dyersburg, Tennessee; his brother Herman Lee Gable of Killen, Texas; and his grandchildren, Brad Daniels, Ashley Elrod (Jeremy), Autumn Webber, Dylan Webber, Landon Yarbrough, Brooke Joyner, Dustin Riggs and Megan Purvis (Cody). He is also survived by ten great-grandchildren.
