She was predeceased by: her parents, Bailey Edward and Mattie Pearl Hampton; and her brothers, James Hampton, Cecil Hampton, Edward Hampton and Billy Wayne Hampton.
She is survived by: her husband Wallace G. Young; her children, Kim Sutphin (David) of Arlington, Michael Pilkington (Shelly) of Arlington and Edward Pilkington of Arlington; and her siblings, Margaret Harper (Phil) of Memphis and Roger Hampton of Horn Lake, MS. She is also survived by six grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
