She was predeceased by: her parents, Hassel Campbell and Viola Lurene Harper Campbell; and her sister Melody Thomas. She is survived by: her husband Jimmy Seay Whitehurst of Eagleville, TN; her sons, Joey Whitehurst and Marty Whitehurst (Jackie) of Nashville, TN; her siblings, Joan Clark, Annie May Parks, Hassel Campbell, Jr. and Jimmy Carl Campbell (Sherrie); her grandchildren, Megan Ladd (Adam), Jimmy Whitehurst, Abbey Burch (Aaron), Taylor Whitehurst and Jacob Whitehurst; her great grandchildren, Auryn Ladd, Dallas Whitehurst and Adelaine Burch; and her pet Oliver. She is also survived by her family, from her husband of 63 years, to raising her 2 boys, helping with her grandchildren, nieces, nephews, nieces, nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 3rd 2026 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Lawrence Funeral Home (203 S Horton Pkwy, Chapel Hill, TN 37034). A memorial service was held on Thursday, September 3rd 2026 at 6:00 PM at the same location.
