The family announces the passing of Lanny Lentz Turner (Eagleville, Tennessee) on September 29, 2026. Lanny, born on August 21, 1937, was part of many shared moments and relationships throughout life. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John R. Turner and Clara Smotherman Turner; and his siblings, Willard Turner (Jean Turner), John E. Turner and Robbie Hall (Thomas Hall, Jr.).
He is survived by: his son Bobby Turner (Jenny); his grandchildren, Perry, Carolina, William and Olivia Turner; his sister-in-law Judy Turner; his close friends, Sandra Turner, George Annen and Rachel Badhe; and his pets, Lacy and Marcy Jo. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and many other family and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Rocky Glade Cumberland Presbyterian Church (1727 Rocky Glade Rd, Eagleville, TN 37060). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 at 5:00 PM at the same location.
