He is survived by: his wife Faye Russell Scales of Eagleville, TN; his children, Jennifer Crutcher (Troy), Stephanie Scales of Nolensville, TN and Leslie Smith of Eagleville, TN; his grandchildren, Amber Harris (Ralph), Stevie Scales, Jayden Sales and Brylee Crutcher; his great grandchildren, Peyton Scales, Epperson Harris, Morgan Harris and Solomon Harris; his siblings, Bernice Perry (Roy) of Nolensville, TN, Linda Bills of Nolensville, TN and Tobey Scales (Darlene) of Eagleville, TN; and his sister-in-law Mary Ann Scales of Nolensville, TN..
Visitation was held on Wednesday, October 22nd 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Thursday, October 23rd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Lawrence Funeral Home (203 S Horton Pkwy, Chapel Hill, TN 37034). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 23rd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Thursday, October 23rd 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM at the Nolensville Cemetery (9636 Clovercroft Rd, Nolensville, TN 37135).
