He was predeceased by : his parents, Horton Godwin and Ida Belle Godwin; and his daughter Susan Jo Godwin. He is survived by : his wife Faye Godwin; his daughters, Julie Prescott (Kyle), Cathy Patterson (James) and Pam Griffey (Brad); his grandchildren, Hannah, Andrew, Abby Claire Prescott and Joseph Patterson; and his siblings, Jeanette Frederick, Jack Godwin and Ric Godwin (Karen).
