He was predeceased by : his father Joseph Burkett; and his brother Timothy Burkett. He is survived by : his wife Marilyn Burkett; his daughter Barbie Bass (Sonny Bass); his grandson Devon Bailey; his great grandchild Kiayah Jade Bailey; and his brother Robin Burkett. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
