He was predeceased by: his parents, Meredith Lee and Cornelia Porter; and his son Stephen Lee Porter. He is survived by: his wife Evelyn Porter; his daughter Stephenie Newcom (Tim); his grandchildren, Joe Porter (Lindi), Sara Walker (Josh), Makayla and Seth Newcom; his great grandchildren, Ridley and Maverick Walker; and his sister Jill Cooper.
