He was predeceased by : his parents, Terry Samuel and Ima West (Saunders); his wife Bobbie J. West; and his siblings, Terry, John William, Franklin D. West and Eura West Banner.

He is survived by : his sister Mary Alice Turner; his children, Rick, Tony West and Julie West Hammond (Robby); his grandchildren, Terry West (Delaney), Rachel West, Alexis West, Weston Hammond, Bella Hammond and McKenzie West; and his great grandchild Terry Samuel West II. He is also survived by numerous nephews and nieces.
