He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Macklin Smartt and Mildred Allene Yoder Smartt. He is survived by: his siblings, Linda Morgan, David Smartt and John Smartt (Donna Jo).
Visitation was held on Friday, September 26th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home (5401 TN-153, Hixson, TN 37343). A celebration of life was held on Friday, September 26th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
