He was predeceased by : his parents, Eldridge Johnson and Reba Giles Johnson; and his brothers, Herschel Johnson, Elbert Johnson, Larry Johnson and Glen Johnson.

He is survived by : his children, Randy Johnson (Beth) and Lacey Anderson (Greg Robinson); his grandchildren, Katie Johnson, Brodie Johnson and Brantley Johnson; and his sisters, Judy Hass, Margaret Johnson and Betty Davenport (Lee). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
