He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, William and Laura Kindrick (Hickman); his wife Shirley Saurbaugh Kindrick; his children, Alan S. Kindrick (Beverly Cook) of Fallbrook, CA and Melissa J. Powell of Brownsburg; his grandson Robert Powell of Brownsburg; his siblings, John Kindrick (Andrea) of Kingsport, TN and Barbara Duncan (David) of Avon; and his brothers-in-law, Richard Savage of Columbus, OH and David Saurbaugh of Indianapolis.

Stoic to the end, David battled Diabetes, Lupus and Parkinson's before Pancreatic Cancer claimed his life.
