It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Allen Phipps of Elizabethton, Tennessee, who passed away on November 23, 2025, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Allen Basil Phipps and Mary Moody Phipps. He is survived by: his wife Patsy Phipps; his children, Alana Jay Davis (Don Davis) and Patrick Allen Phipps (Angie Phipps); his grandchildren, Alexandra Diekmann, Jacob Allen Davis, Nicholas Wade Davis, Macy Katherine Davis and Rachel Allyn Payne; and his great grandchildren, Heidi Davis, Daxton Payne and Penelope Diekmann.
Those who prefer memorials in lieu of flowers may make donations in memory of Allen to St. Jude's Children's Hospital, 501 St. Jude's Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
