She was predeceased by: her father Floyd Snyder; her husband Carl S. Austin; and her siblings, Pauline Simcox, Juanita Lasater, John L. Snyder, Floyd Snyder Jr. and Yvonne McEwen.
She is survived by: her son Carl Samuel Austin, Jr. (Lee Anne) of Colbert, GA; her grandchildren, Samuel Blake Austin (Bradley) of Dalton, GA, Elizabeth Anne Austin of Atlanta, GA and Emily Marie Austin of Colbert, GA.; and her friends, Cathy Ross and Ronnie Snavely. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to First Christian Church (Children's Fund or to the Church Food Pantry), 513 Hattie Avenue, Elizabethton, TN, 37643.
