Though Betty may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Betty touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Reynolds Clark and Myrtle Clark (Carden); her husband John Nicholas "J. N." Chambers; and her sisters, Anna Sue Clark, Hazel Shull, Ailene Bailey, Wanda Markland and Blondeen Parr.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 19th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Hathaway Percy Funeral Home (101 E F St, Elizabethton, TN 37643). A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, October 19th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Sunday, October 19th 2025 at 3:15 PM at the Happy Valley Memorial Park (2708 Elizabethton Hwy, Johnson City, TN 37601-7107).
