With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Brenda Joyce Cooley of Elizabethton, Tennessee, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 18, 2024 at the age of 79. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Brenda Joyce Cooley to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Joseph Robert French and Vivian Miner Belcher; her siblings, Edsel French, Thomas Allen French, John Neal French, Bettilee Sarandos and Ann Crawford; and her grandchildren, Quentin Cooley and Brooke Lauryn Stine.

She is survived by : her husband David Cooley; and her children, Rhonda Stine (John) of Palm Bay, Florida, Michael Cooley (Susan) of Blountville and Tyler Cooley (Cara) of Knoxville, TN. She is also survived by twelve grandchildren; four great grandchildren, along with several nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Monday, April 22nd 2024 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Tetrick Funeral Home (211 N Riverside Dr, Elizabethton, TN 37643). A celebration of life was held on Monday, April 22nd 2024 at 7:00 PM at the same location.
