It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carol L Short of Elizabethton, Tennessee, born in Dover, Delaware, who passed away on July 2, 2023, at the age of 54, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred A. Short, Sr. and Yohallo Winchester Short; and her sister Teresa Tressler. She is survived by: her children, Brittani Proffitt and Justin Proffitt (McKenna); her grandchildren, Kyriee McPherson, Lehanni McPherson and Kanann McPherson; and her brother Fred A. Short, Jr. (Candace).
