She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Sexton and Hazel McGee Matherly; her husband Dallas Pierce; and her siblings, Jessie Davis, JoAnn Hickman Cantrell, Gail Tolley and Glenn.
She is survived by: her children, Gary Pierce (Dauphine) of San Antonio and Lisa Wells (Mike); her grandsons, Evan Wells (Elizabeth) and Andrew Wells; and her great grandchild Hudson Wells.
Visitation was held on Sunday, September 27th 2026 from 12:30 PM to 2:30 PM at the Caldwell Springs Cemetery (1509 Blue Springs Rd, Elizabethton, TN 37643). A graveside service was held on Sunday, September 27th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
