He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Barker and Sarah Jane Clemons Barker; and his sister Martha Barker. He is survived by: his wife Alice Barker; his children, Terry Barker (Jeannie), Angie Barker and Pam Norris (Roger); his grandchildren, Drew Barker, Lindsey Chambers (Tyler), Brad Barker (Hannah) and Nathan Norris (Lyndsey); his great grandchildren, Charley Chambers, Brynlee Norris and Jaxon Norris; and his siblings-in-law, Dare Jones, Louise Cable (Jack), Harold Sluder (Dorothy) and Wayne Sluder (Donna). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 5th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Tetrick Funeral Home of Elizabethton At (211 N Riverside Dr, Elizabethton, TN 37643). A procession was held on Wednesday, November 5th 2025 at 12:15 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Wednesday, November 5th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Happy Valley Memorial Park (2708 Elizabethton Hwy, Johnson City, TN 37601-7107).
