He was predeceased by: his father James Deaton; and his brother Dr. James "Jim" Deaton. He is survived by: his wife Jessica; his children, Braeden, Abigail (Tyler), Jeremiah and Hailey (Ryan); his granddaughter Taylynn; his aunt Pearl Peterson; his sister Amber (Jeremy); his brother-in-law Andy; and his pet Archie.
Visitation will be held on Monday, September 28th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Memorial Funeral Chapel (212 N Main St, Elizabethton, TN 37643). A funeral service will be held on Monday, September 28th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
