He was predeceased by: his father David H. Whaley; his grandparents, Jack and Luella Adams; and his brother William Whaley. He is survived by: his wife Jessie Whaley; his children, Jessie Kristen Whaley (Justin Moore), Chase Alexander Stearns and Jaxon Kale Stearns; his brother Shane Terrell (Mindy); and his daughter Piper of Jonesborough.
