It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dena Michelle Smith of Elizabethton, Tennessee, who passed away on November 12, 2025, at the age of 51, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her father Michael Grant Fisher; her brother Michael Fisher, Jr.; and her father-in-law Dwight Michael Smith. She is survived by: her mother Brenda Giles Fisher of Elizabethton; her husband Mike Smith; her son Hunter Smith; her mother-in-law Kathy Smith of Elizabethton; her brother Wayne Fisher (Rachel) of Johnson City; her brother-in-law Chris Smith of Elizabethton; her nieces and nephews, Britteny Scott, Macey Fisher, Emily Fisher, Katlyn Smith, Lily Smith, Cody Arnold and Justin Fisher; her aunt Mary Price; and her uncles, Dean Fisher and Matt Quarles.

Those who prefer memorials in lieu of flowers may make donations to Happy Valley High School/ Baseball program in memory of Dena.
