He was predeceased by: his parents, John Easterly and Nannie Alice King Easterly. He is survived by: his wife Della Proffitt Easterly; his children, Doug Easterly, Natasha Easterly, Melissa Easterly, David Easterly and Beth Geoff; his stepsons, Michael Williams and Chris Smith; his siblings, Dana Sue Statzer of Abingdon, Patsy Roten (Cecil) of Abingdon, Nancy Charles of Bristol, Shirley Easterly of Lebanon and Johnny Easterly of Lebanon; and his grandchildren, Hailey Williams and Colton Williams. He is also survived by several great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Sunday, April 26th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Owens Funeral Service (7 Tate Ave, Lebanon, VA 24266). A funeral service was held on Sunday, April 26th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
