We are sad to announce that on April 1, 2024, at the age of 86, Eugene Carrier of Elizabethton, Tennessee passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Benfield Carrier and Medora Estep Carrier; his former life partner Maude Asher Carrier; his son Brian Keith Carrier; his grandson Mitchell Estep; his siblings, Dennis Carrier, Vaughn Carrier, Dallas Carrier and Lennis Taylor; and his aunt Eva Carrier.

He is survived by : his wife Tresea Scalf; his daughters, Jennifer Estep of Elizabethton and Debbie Perry (Dennis) of Elizabethton; his stepchildren, James Scalf Jr. of Hampton, Kevin Scalf (Heather) of Elizabethton, Lisa Julian (Eddie) of Roan Mountain and Carrie Miller (Tim) of Hampton; his grandchildren, Maverick Estep, Melanie Curd (Ryan), Malarie Guinn (Josh), Macie Odom (Chad), Dustin Perry (Tabby), Medora Perry (Justin) and Clifford Carrier; his stepgrandchildren, Sara Julian, Elizabeth, Victoria Scalf, Timmy and Andrew Miller; his great grandchildren, Aly, Lillie, Ian, Ridge, Karlee, Elijah, Knox, Cade, Dallas, Addison, Conner, Payzli, Rory, Waylon and Trevor; his stepgreat-grandchild Jayme Rouse; his siblings, Ronnie Carrier of Elizabethton, Joe Carrier of Elizabethton, Benny Carrier of Elizabethton and Cleta "Chum" Lingerfelt of Elizabethton; his daughter-in-law Lisa Carrier Nidiffer; his sister-in-law Irene Carrier; and his caregivers, Stacy, Heather, Josh, Nora, Megan, Melissa Buckles and Gene. He is also survived by his wife, his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
